I had the exact same issue today. I have an SRX300. I can successfully connect to it using iPhone, iPad, Android, and Windows 10 clients. I have a Windows 11 laptop will not connect and will get the message "Login data parsing failure".

Hi There,

After a little guidance and assistance if possible.

I have been trying to test the Juniper Secure Connect and i seem to be getting an odd issue.

I have followed the guides, etc to configuring the SRX, creating the locally signed certificate, etc but it appears that when i connect, the session sets up, green on the VPN client on my Mac and then immediately disconnects.

As it stands there is no clear reason why.

Its sets up ok then immediately tears down.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi,Could you please help me with advice. I'm not professional with Juniper (at least not yet :)) and faced with following problem.I have SRX345 on my platform, and I decided to configure vpn connection for remote user using Secure Connect. As installation guide I used next video: =uB54u-4cFGo repeating everything step by step as in video. And as result after performing all configurations as in video I successfully connected to my SRX345 using windows and iphone Secure Connect clients. But! Next day this installation stopped work. Client showed:

In my current project, we have been using Juniper Network Connect to connect to client's VPN. It's a web based VPN authentication that uses Juniper Network Connect to establish connection. I don't know any more technicalities.

I spoke to the support team of the client I work for and the issue turned out to be with the System time set on my machine. It was set to China timezone by default and I didn't notice that. After I changed the time to US the Juniper connect worked fine and my VPN now works fine.

More to the point of answering your question, Juniper wants you to get it directly from whatever system(s) you're connecting to. That way there is no confusing the correct version needed. It is not available 3rd party or from non-admin download from Juniper. Their licensing is all back-end and based on concurrent sessions. In fact, network connect was licensed separately on top of this, but I digress. Having the software is legal but you can't use it with anything else. They provide the clients in their appliance build releases and only the necessary version is included with the build. Therefore, it automatically downloads when trying to login. System admins have the ability to extract the software from the appliance and publish it. This is what I used to do. I put it up on our company's external login page, in the case that the auto-installer was blocked by the user's computer. Users could manually down and install it if they wanted to. We did have a few people who needed to login to other juniper instances not controlled by me, and their different versions of the network connect software coexisted just fine. ff782bc1db
