Juniper, Blue Point Spiral

The Blue Point Spiral Juniper (Juniperus chinensis 'Blue Point Spiral') is a cultivar of the Chinese Juniper tree. It is a slow-growing evergreen with a dense, pyramidal form and blue-green foliage that can range from silvery-blue to bluish-green depending on the time of year.

The Blue Point Spiral Juniper typically grows to a height of 8-12 feet (2.4-3.7 meters) with a spread of 2-3 feet (0.6-0.9 meters) over a period of 10-20 years. As a spiral form, it may have a narrower spread at the base, but it gradually widens as it grows taller. It is commonly used as an accent plant, as well as for screening and privacy hedges. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil.
