HEADACHE HELPER
Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 31, 2026
1. Overview
Headache Helper is a personal headache-tracking and calming app designed to be simple for children and families to use. This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the choices available to users and parents or guardians.
The app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. It is intended for personal tracking and calming support only.
2. What the App Handles
The app lets a user enter headache-log information, including the date, a pain rating, possible cause, actions tried for relief, and optional notes. This information may be health-related or sensitive depending on what a user enters.
Information — How it is handled
Headache logs and optional notes
Stored locally in the app's private storage on the user's device. The developer does not receive or access this information.
PDF report selected by the user
Created on the device and shared only when the user chooses to use the device's system share sheet.
Account, contact, location, photos, contacts, microphone, camera, identifiers
Not requested or collected by the app.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
Headache Helper does not create online user accounts. It does not operate a server, collect analytics, display advertising, use advertising identifiers, track users across apps or websites, sell or share user information, or send headache logs or notes to the developer or another third party.
4. Children's Privacy
The app is designed to be appropriate for children and families. Because the app does not transmit personal information to the developer or third parties, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children online. Parents and guardians can review or delete information stored in the app directly on the child's device.
If a parent or guardian believes that information has been transmitted to the developer contrary to this policy, they should contact us using the information in Section 9.
5. Storage, Security, and Retention
Headache logs remain on the user's device unless the user chooses to export a PDF. The app relies on the operating system's app-storage protections. Users should keep their device protected with an appropriate passcode or biometric lock.
The app retains logs until the user deletes an individual log, uses the in-app "Delete all my logs" option, or deletes the app. If device backup is enabled, the operating system or the user's chosen backup provider may handle an app backup under that provider's own privacy terms.
6. Sharing and Third Parties
Headache Helper does not share user information with advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or other third parties. When a user chooses to export a report, the device displays its system share sheet. Any recipient or service selected by the user is responsible for its own handling of that shared report.
7. Your Choices and Deletion
Users may delete individual logs from the History tab. Users may permanently delete all locally stored logs from the Info tab by choosing "Delete all my logs." Because the developer does not operate an account system or receive the logs, there is no developer-held account or cloud record to delete.
8. Changes to This Policy
If the app's privacy practices change, this policy will be updated before the changed practice takes effect. The effective date at the top of this policy will be revised. Material changes will also be reflected in the app and in App Store metadata when appropriate.

10. Apple App Store Privacy Alignment
This policy is written for the current version of Headache Helper, which stores logs on-device, has no sign-in, advertising, analytics, or developer-operated backend, and allows in-app deletion. It includes the data practices, purpose, sharing, retention/deletion, and contact disclosures requested by Apple's App Review Guidelines for privacy policies. The App Store Connect App Privacy answers and the public policy URL must match the actual released app.
For the current version, the developer should review the App Privacy questionnaire carefully and confirm that no data is collected by the developer or third-party SDKs. If features, SDKs, accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, notifications, or data sharing are added later, this policy and the App Store disclosures must be updated before release.
