Dear chess parent,
With the onset of the Covid 19 pandemic we are no longer holding over-the-board chess clubs for junior chess players and are setting up "virtual" chess clubs in the chesskid.com platform.
Chesskid.com is developed and run by the world's leading chess site chess.com and specifically designed for children with their safety and enjoyment in mind.
Coordinating the creation of accounts and setup of the virtual clubs is more effective if done centrally and therefore we are trialing the use of a simple process using Google's forms and a single administrator who will set up children's accounts on our behalf.
We've had our virtual club created in chesskid.com - it is called <enter club name here>.
Fill out this form https://forms.gle/MKbFNkgSiAyLutew8 if you would like our administrator to send you a new account for your child and associate it with our club. Once you are familiar with chesskid.com, you can later create your own account and we can transfer "primary guardian" status to you for your children's accounts.
Alternatively if you wish, you are able to create your own "parent" account and then create accounts for your children and make our account <our email address> their guardian. There's more information about that here: https://www.chesskid.com/article/view/how-to-manage-guardianship2
Because there is no relationship in chesskid.com with your child's name or your email address, their account is 100% anonymous and you don't have to be concerned about any personal data if the account stops being used by your child.
Kind regards
