About GRIPS MEP
The National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) is a policy school located in the center of Tokyo.
Around 60% of our students come from outside of Japan and 80% of our students are from the public sector.
Since 2016, I have been serving as the Director of the GRIPS Macroeconomic Policy Program (MEP), a 1- or 2-year master's program primarily aimed at government officials and professionals involved in designing and implementing macroeconomic policies.
Most students are recipients of the Japan-IMF Scholarship Program for Asia (JISPA), but students financed by other sources are also welcome. Please see the links below for further information.
