Hi, I'm a robotics engineer with over 12 years of experience in mechanical design for robotic systems.
My work focuses on humanoid and wearable robotics, particularly in actuator and sensor system design and their integration for human–robot interaction.

Hardware Group, Staff Engineer, 2024–Current
Mechanical design for a full scale humanoid
Led the mechanical design of a full-scale bipedal humanoid robot capable of dynamic, high-impact motions such as running, balancing, and acrobatics (e.g., backflips)
Performed FEA, tolerance stack-up, and GD&T analysis to ensure structural reliability
Improved mechanical robustness through iterative testing and data-driven design
Collaborated cross-functionally with controls, AI, and electrical teams to align mechanical design with whole-body control strategies (e.g. waist and ankle parallel mechanisms)
Designed components for multiple manufacturing processes, including 3D printing (e.g., titanium, TPU), machining, and molding
Delivered production-ready 2D drawings and worked closely with suppliers and designers for DFM and manufacturing scalability

GEMS LAB & Actuator Team, Staff Engineer, September 2021–2024
Actuator Design
Designed low-reduction planetary gearboxes and low-friction cycloid gearboxes for humanoid
Developed an axial flux permanent magnet (AFPM) motor with a double-rotor and single-stator architecture
Wearable products Design
Designed wearable robotic systems integrating mechanical structures, textiles, and electronics
Developed modular cable-driven actuator systems for wearable robotics
Conducted extensive human subject testing to evaluate usability, ergonomics, and performance
