INTRODUCTION
Juneteenth Nevada is Nevada’s official Juneteenth foundation, instrumental in securing state recognition in 2011 and state holiday status in 2023—a milestone that helped elevate Juneteenth nationally. Since 2023, Juneteenth Nevada has expanded its reach through statewide flag raisings, youth education initiatives, and community celebrations that draw thousands. We continue to collaborate with leaders from city halls to the governor’s office, and remain a proud affiliate of the National Juneteenth Observance Foundation.
