We’ve had a great first few weeks of dog training! Keep working with your dogs at home on what you’ve been learning in training classes. As the weather warms up, please remember to bring water for your dog and yourself. Any training cancellations due to weather will be posted in our Facebook group and sent out in an email from the extension office if time allows.
Sponsorship letters for the fair dog show were sent out to local businesses. If you know of any business or individual that would like to be a sponsor and needs a copy of the letter, please talk to a board member.
During the training season, monthly board meetings will take place at 7 PM at the fairgrounds during showmanship on the 3rd Thursday of the month.

The dog project board has been busy organizing the upcoming year of dog training. Mandatory meetings will be held in March, and dates and times for those meetings are being finalized. Meeting dates will be shared in the Cloverleaf Crier and on Facebook, as well as in information packets that will be mailed to all enrolled project members. Training nights will begin in May. If you haven’t been a part of the project before and have any questions, they can be sent to either email listed below.
