Official Statement:
All AMARON batteries sold by this outlet are supplied by the authorized distributor, Tecxus Marketing Sdn. Bhd. All warranty terms, conditions, and claim processes strictly adhere to the official policies set by the distributor.
1. WARRANTY PERIOD (WHICHEVER COMES FIRST)
We provide Nationwide Warranty Registration for all our customers. Coverage depends on the battery model and vehicle usage:
Warranty Period (Whichever comes first)
The coverage duration varies by battery model and vehicle usage:
Amaron GO, FLO warranty for Petrol Vehicles (Private Use): 18 months/30,000 km
Amaron PRO warranty for Petrol Vehicles (Private Use): 36 months/60,000 km
Amaron ONYX EFB, JADE AGM warranty for Petrol Vehicles (Private Use): 12 months/20,000 km
Battery warranty for Diesel Vehicles (Private Use): 12 months/20,000 km
Battery warranty for Taxi/Bus/Truck/E-hailing/Commercial/Business/Company Vehicles: 12 months/20,000 km
* Enhanced Flooded Battery (EFB) Battery
* Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) Battery
Note on Replacement Battery: The warranty period of a replacement battery is based on the original battery’s purchase date. The replacement unit will only carry the remaining balance of the original warranty period.
2. WARRANTY CONDITIONS & EXCLUSIONS
Manufacturing Defects: Warranty is valid only for faults due to faulty materials or poor workmanship.
Registration: This outlet will handle the E-Warranty registration. Please ensure your contact details and vehicle plate number are correct on the invoice.
Warranty is VOID if:
Battery failure is caused by vehicle electrical issues (e.g., faulty alternator, overcharging/undercharging).
Damage due to negligence, accidents, fire, flood, or improper storage.
Tampering/alteration of labels, manufacturing codes, or safety markings.
The battery is transferred to another vehicle or there is a change in vehicle ownership.
3. CLAIM PROCEDURE (SOP) & LOAN BATTERY
In compliance with the distributor’s policy, no on-the-spot 1-to-1 exchanges are allowed. All claims must undergo a technical inspection.
A. The Inspection Process
The battery must be left at our outlet for testing (typically 24–48 hours).
Our technicians will determine if the battery is defective or merely discharged.
B. Loan Battery Service (Subject to availability)
To keep you on the road during the inspection, you may borrow a battery:
· Used Battery: RM50 refundable deposit.
· New Battery: Full Retail Price (RRP) refundable deposit.
C. Settlement & Refund
If Claim is APPROVED: You keep the replacement battery. Your full deposit (RM50 or RRP) will be refunded.
If Claim is REJECTED: You must return the loan battery in good condition to receive your full deposit refund. Your original battery will be returned to you.
4. SERVICE CHARGES
Third-Party Claims: A fee of RM20–RM50 applies if the battery was not purchased from this outlet.
Outdoor Service (Within 15KM): Service fee of RM30–RM50 applies.
Outdoor Service (Beyond 15KM): Additional RM5 per KM applies.
“Warranty claims can be made at any Amaron authorized dealer nationwide (subject to local dealer’s service charges).
Customer Acknowledgement:
By purchasing from this outlet, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined above. All warranty decisions made by the distributor are final.
