Youth Fellowship in International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD), Bangladesh (August 2023-January 2024
Under this fellowship, Jumana Akhter has already undergone a residential workshop on Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation, Locally Lead Adaptation (LLA), UNFCCC structure and COP 28 agenda.
The second part of the fellowship consisted of a weeklong field visit to climate vulnerable communities in the South-West part of Bangladesh, concentrating towards Mongla and the Sundarbans. This field trip included familiarizing with water dressed coastal communities, conducting Focused Group Discussion (FGD) and KI with diverse stakeholders, visiting on-going Local Lead Adaptation plans associated by different organizations and NGOs.

Internship in Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization (SPARRSO) in Water Resources Division. (October 2022- November 2022)Â
The first part of the internship covered five divisions of SPARSSO where the team was acquittanced with the work and scopes of Water Resources, Agricultura, Forestry, Fisheries and Ground Station.
The second part of the internship was a hands-on training on ArcGIS and ERDAS IMAGINE for a project focused on the Sundarbans
