THE LODGE

Our Lodge is very warm, cozy, familiar and safe. We are managed by a woman and we pay attention to every detail. We have all the qualities of a rustic little house, so we can welcome our customers with lots of love and joy.

We are known for the delicious food made by Dona Maria (our manager and owner!), as well as by our service with love and devotion.

There is no Wi-Fi, internet or telephone connection. We offer total disconnection from the world and (re)connection with the nature.

About us

Until 2016, our customers were 99% foreign.
The lodge was founded in the 80s with the main focus on backpackers and to make the dream of visiting the Amazon Rainforest come true, due to the high cost of local lodges.
We are located in the heart of the forest, 3 hours away from Manaus
We have a rustic structure, considering the logistics of getting all the supplies from Manaus. The more structure, the more expensive it would be.
Gerry Hardy founded the lodge with 8 tourists and he was the bilingual guide. They stayed at the home of a riverside resident, Cassiano, the father of Maria Cleide, today manager and partner of our lodge.
The light arrived in 2016 thanks to "Luz para Todos" (Light for all). Electricity supply is not 100% guaranteed.
There is no Wi-Fi or mobile connection. Given that, we only accept cash payment.

Restaurant

Our restaurant is located in a floating house, where we also welcome our guests. Here we serve all the meals that are included in our packages, and there is the kitchen and our beloved bar.

For the vegetarians guests: all meals have eggs, rice, beans, fruits, vegetables. However, for logistical reasons, we don't offer any other options.
