I’ve taken on numerous projects and roles over the years that have allowed me to dabble with visual design in many forms. Below are some examples of my work, including website redesigns, app designs, logo designs, and marketing campaigns.
I designed and branded professional application materials for a PhD doctoral student as she prepared for the faculty search. Keeping in mind her research vision as well as personal sources of inspiration, I created a style guide, logo design, and templates for both CV and grant letters.
I acted as freelance designer for Dear Black Women (DBW), an organization dedicated to uplifting and affirming Black women and our networks. During my time at DBW, I designed social media campaigns for upcoming events and feature updates, including our annual New Year’s Party and for DBW Affirms, the daily text message service.
I redesigned my mother’s German Language Service website, which was originally hosted on Yahoo. I helped her migrate the site to a more modern, mobile-friendly platform and freshened up the content and visuals for the business. Using the Google Sites template, she is now able to customize her content accordingly, manage translation requests, and track her site’s success using Google Analytics.
As part of a graphic design course, I created mocks for a proposed University dining hall app, 24 Carrots. These designs feature a map of dining hall locations as well as daily menus with detailed information about each meal.
