Julianna Messineo

Hi I'm Julianna! 

I've taught math for 5 years (2019-2024), ranging from 6th grade to 9th grade, as well as math intervention. I love crafting creative and engaging lessons and interactive tools that build on students prior knowledge and get them where they need to be. My strengths are using visuals and intentional questioning to help students develop a deeper understanding of the math they're learning. 

I'm currently substituting, tutoring, and learning web development. I'm currently building a math strategy game designed to develop number sense and build intuition of the commutative, associative, and distributive properties. 

I am ultimately looking for a position at a math education company in a curriculum and/or software development role.
