We, The Public: An Archive of Memories and Artifacts of Struggles

( N o s t a l g i a    d e    l o    p ú b l i c o )

We, The Public is an archive built from the bottom-up that includes the material artifacts and social memories surrounding the cultural politics of state-run entities and their privatization in Colombia and Latin America. It collects photographs, pamphlets, emblems, merchandise, videos, textiles, technological devices, and myriad official and unofficial vestiges. In doing so, it shows how public institutions were not only forged by state legislation and loans from financial institutions, but by the daily activity of concrete individuals.
