The Fire Safe Councils of Julian, Wynola Estates and Cuyamaca Woods meet quarterly to share information and work together for the benefit of our communities.
The Community Wellness Protection Plan (CWPP) is a strategic, locally driven plan created by communities alongside local, state, federal, or tribal emergency and land management partners. The goals of the CWPP is to identify high-hazard areas, plan fuel reduction treatments (like clearing brush), and recommend ways to make homes and structures less ignitable. The CWPP can be updated annually however, it requires extensive community input and support. Contact us if you would like to be a part of JFSC and help shape wildfire safety and preparedness in the Julian community.
