Hi! I'm Juliana. 

I just recently completed my undergraduate degree in philosophy from Queen's University in Canada, where I focused on Philosophy of Mind, AI, Science and Logic. Since then, I have been focused on expanding the talent pool of people working to increase the likelihood that AI goes well. To that end, I am currently working with the Oxford AI Safety Initiative as a Programme Manager, alongside a few similarly-flavoured side projects. 

I spend most of my time in Oxford, although I tend to take multiple trips out to Toronto and SF/Berkeley a year. When I do, I try to be proactive about attending and hosting social events. I recently made a personal events calendar, which you can subscribe to here if you'd like to come along :) 

I really enjoy philosophy and ideas in general, and so I spend quite a bit of time reading/thinking/talking about whatever special interest I have at a given time. I recently started a Substack, although I'm not sure I will commit to posting regularly (if at all). If I do, you can read some of my thoughts here.
