Writing this article taught me about the importance of audience and tone.

I loved writing this profile piece. I learned how to conduct an effective interview and integrate quotes to enhance my writing. 

Covering the dance concert helped me improve my interviews and understand the importance of including different perspectives.

This was my first time doing sports coverage and I loved learning about the power of observation.

Research was a crucial aspect of this story. Learning about sources, data, and statistics has helped me with other writing.

Writing an opinion story taught me about forming a strong argument through the use of voice and research.

In writing this story, I found that live coverage does not only have to be a recap, but can also include research and observations.

I loved collaborating with my multimedia team member on this story. Our collaboration made it a more interesting and multifaceted story.

Writing this story helped me understand the importance of working with others and working down to the wire. 

This was my first time cowriting and enjoyed understanding how to merge different writing styles. This story also heavily relied on research and taught me important lessons about sources and relevant information.

This story exposed me to writing using alternative formats and also allowed me to focus on observations and actions during interviews.

This story, more than any others, really allowed me to work with my teammates and create multifaceted coverage. We all contributed to this piece and strengthened its content.

Working on this story showed me the importance of interviewing multiple people and constantly communicating with editors.

Procedurally, this was one of the most difficult stories I've written, as it required me navigating possible ethical and privacy issues.

I enjoyed writing a fact and data-driven story. I made sure to cite credible sources and find relevant statistics. 

This was a really interview heavy story, which allowed me to improve my interviewing abilities and my comfort with interviewing. 

Writing a social media caption allowed me to adapt to a new style of writing and practice isolating crucial information.

This was my first live coverage social media assignment and I really enjoyed learning more about the social media editing process.

I enjoyed creating this graphic and exploring alternative ways of presenting data through social media.

I loved expanding my graphics skills and combining research and creativity to create a graphic.

This post ended up being a last-resort when we ran out of time to publish the story, so it was a challenge to adapt the information for social.
