PhD Astrophysics | NSF GRFP Fellow | BS Astrophysics & Mechanical Engineering
Hello, my name is Juliana Barstow! I am currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Colorado Boulder in Astrophysical and Planetary Science as an NSF GRFP Fellow. During the day I'm working towards specializing in instrumentation at LASP, while in my free time I occasionally do a variety of different types of art :)
I did my undergrad at New Mexico Tech where I completed a double major in Astrophysics and Mechanical Engineering in December 2023. Throughout undergrad I did a variety of research including detector physics for solar instrumentation, computational analysis for symbiotic stars, autonomous vehicles, and bio-inspired robotics.
