2025/01/29: I'm very excited that, after years of hard work, two of my papers just got accepted, at the International Journal of Research in Marketing and at the International Journal of Industrial Organization.
2023/12/03: I am really excited to report that I will be joining Northwestern University as a tenure-track assistant professor.
2023/9/25: I went on the Game Economics podcast to talk about my research, the starting point for the conversation was this piece I wrote in February.
2023/9/1: I'm honored, humbled, and simply super happy that our paper on price promotions in freemium won the Dick Wittink Prize for the best paper published in QME.
2023/8/9: I joined the Mobile Dev Memo podcast to talk about the future of digital advertising and this paper.
2023/3/24: Together with two marketing scientists from Meta, I published a short article on experimental calibration of marketing models in Harvard Business Review.

2022/7/12: Quantitative Marketing and Economics published our paper on "Price Promotions and Freemium App Monetization," with Jonathan Levav and Harikesh Nair from Stanford University.

2021/10/25: Garrett Johnson, Eric Seufert and I co-wrote a short piece on Privacy-Centric Digital Advertising summarizing landslide-level changes in platform privacy.
2021/6/14: Today was my first day as a postdoctoral research fellow at RWTH Aachen University where Daniel Wentzel will be my mentor and collaborator.
2021/5/18: I arrived in Durham, NC, to join Duke Fuqua as a visiting scholar for a year. Really looking forward!
2021/4/26: HBR published my article, co-authored with Eric Seufert, on the changes that Apple is bringing to the digital advertising ecosystem. Crucial reading for pretty much all advertisers and a good overview for interested marketing academics.
2020/10/28: I'm excited to share that Harvard Business Review published my article "Marketers Underuse Ad Experiments. That’s a Mistake." -- link to article and LinkedIn post.
2020/09/15: I successfully defended my Ph.D. at Humboldt University Berlin! My defense lecture received the highest grade "summa cum laude."
2020/05/09: Expert Systems with Applications (impact factor: 5.452) accepted our article surveying experimentation-based reinforcement learning among leading advertisers. Link to article.
