Welcome!
Welcome!
I am a PhD student in economics at the Munich Graduate School of Economics MGSE at the Economics Department of the University of Munich (LMU). From August to December 2022 I was visiting the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
My research is at the intersection of economics, political science and psychology, with a strong focus on political economy and behavioral economics. I am especially interested in the formation and intergenerational transmission of political preferences among parents and their children.
Another focus is on electoral behavior of individuals and elections in general, where I look at the relationship between aggregate electoral outcomes and economic data. Additionally, I am investigating the contagion effect of populist speech in parliament by applying methods from natural language processing.
