Julian Demeio

Hello, I am currently a postdoc researcher at the University of Hannover, in Ulrich Derenthal 's group. I obtained my PhD in 2021, under the joint supervision of David Harari (Université Paris-Saclay) and Umberto Zannier (Scuola Normale Superiore).

Where I've worked since my PhD:

• 2021-2022 Max Planck Institute, Bonn

• 2022-2023 University of Basel, in Pierre Le Boudec 's group

• 2023-2025 University of Bath, in Daniel Loughran 's group

My research interests lay at the intersection of number theory and algebraic geometry. They include: rational points, Brauer-Manin obstruction, elliptic fibrations, inverse Galois problem, diophantine approximation, ...
