In the summer of 2017 I was hired by the SFUSD DOT to coordinate the SIS Superstars for the district. This program was created to help transition our district to our new grade book system. The SIS Superstars are site-based teachers, who were trained to help support the faculty at their school. Over the summer I beta tested to program and worked with IT to turn on and off features. I planned and ran a one day PD which utilized the self-paced tutorial guide below. Each modules has learning activities, tasks to complete, and a quiz. By using a self-paced badging system teachers at all levels were able to work at their own speed while allowing me to focus on teachers that needed more support. In addition to the one day training I held several google hangouts and a 3 hour fall check in.
