I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Community and Regional Planning at the University of British Columbia.
In my work, I leverage new data methods to study housing and socio-spatial inequality. I focus on the housing strategies of marginalized people and the role of cities and housing for social mobility, both in Asia and North America.

Prior to USC, I studied at Münster University, Goethe University Frankfurt, and the Free University of Berlin, earning degrees in Business Administration, Economics, and China and East Asian Studies.
