I am passionate about fostering critical thinking through science education and using research-supported teaching techniques for improving diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in STEM. Everyone enters the classroom with varied initial knowledge and learning styles, and everyone is capable of learning new and challenging topics and skills. As an educator, I seek to cultivate curiosity and STEM identity, creating an environment where students feel empowered and excited to learn.
