I am a Brazilian-American writer, filmmaker, slam poet, and storyteller from the suburbs of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I got my BFA from Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts. I have a passion for screenwriting and the administrative aspects of filmmaking, including producing, casting, and talent management. Aside from filmmaking, my passions include written poetry and spoken word. My goal is to inspire and evoke emotion from the audience. One of the most incredible things about being alive is the ability to feel, which is what drives me to create, in addition to building community by connecting through art. The human experience is a shared one. I enjoy art, whether that be film, TV, short stories, or poems, that romanticizes life, such as "La La Land," as well as dark comedies, like the Showtime series "Weeds" and HBO's "Six Feet Under." I am inspired by simple pleasures, such as her favorite foods, music, and poetry, as well as the raw emotions, the underbelly of relationships, and the beauty of nature and living.
