I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of São Paulo (USP), affiliated with NEREUS and a researcher at LEME. I am visiting CLEAN at Bocconi University during the 2026 academic year.
My work lies at the intersection of development, crime, and gender economics, with an empirical focus on intimate partner violence in Brazil, combining administrative health records with spatial methods.
I earned my PhD in Economics from PUCRS, where I also served as an Assistant Professor (2023-2024). During my doctoral studies, I spent time as a Visiting Scholar at San Diego State University and the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign (2022). Before academia, I spent nearly three years as an economist at Sicredi Asset Management, where I contributed to inflation and interest-rate forecasts that consistently ranked among the Top 5 in Brazil's Central Bank (Focus) survey.
