Hi! My name is Julia Ortega ! I love art both for myself and to order.

I started drawing at the age of three. Later, she studied painting and drawing at the Art Institute of Chicago.

Since 2010, I have been drawing paintings in mixed media. In the process, I draw an idea or use an image, scan it on a computer, and then work on it using Photoshop. Then the painting is printed on canvas and painted with acrylic paints, creating a unique, one-of-a-kind work of art.

My paintings convey a wide range of colors and ideas with layers on layers of transparent and subtle symbols and signs. The playfulness of light and shadows takes the viewer into an eternal dream, challenging the border between reality and imagination.
