You are already grounded in who you are. We’re just getting you ready to name it and step forward.
"I love teaching, but I'm ready to do something different."
"I want to stay in education, but I'm not sure what my options are or how to prepare for my next step."
"I'm hoping to be promoted, but the process feels overwhelming to me, and I'm not sure how to stand out."
As a veteran educator who has successfully navigated transitions from the classroom to central office, the principalship, and district leadership, I have lived experience to help the next generation of educational leaders take the next step in their career journey.
My coaching is built on the belief that leadership already exists within you. My role is to help you uncover it, put words to it, and present it confidently—without losing yourself in the process. Whether we’re refining your résumé, practicing interviews, or walking together through a transition, the work is always relational, values-driven, and designed to empower the leader you already are.
Rebecca, Special Education Resource Teacher
Julia is a humble and graceful human being full of passion, experience, and expertise in the education field. She has a gift for breaking down complex processes and concepts into manageable, easy-to-follow steps. She is deeply compassionate—whenever you bring her a problem, she identifies what needs to change and how to approach it while honoring everyone's feelings and backgrounds. She's genuinely responsive to both cultural contexts and trauma-informed practices. Julia is also generous in sharing her own experiences, including unsuccessful ones, which makes her guidance authentic and relatable. After a conversation with her, you know clearly which path to take, and when questions arise later, you find yourself pausing to ask: 'What would Julia do?' We definitely need more Julias coaching current and future leaders in education.
Jia, Board Certified Behavior Supervisor
When my resume was requested for further consideration for a potential corporate leadership role, I reached out to Julia on a whim to ask for her feedback. She was timely, technical, and incredibly encouraging. Most importantly, her insight was instrumental in helping me translate my experience as an educator into clear, authentic language that aligned with the qualifications of the role.
Julia is a dynamic leader who is genuinely invested in helping others succeed.
Lori, Music Educator
My expertise is a result of the unique blend of my experiences as a classroom teacher, instructional specialist, assistant principal, principal, and head of recruitment and hiring for a large, high performing public school system. I’ve facilitated hundreds of panel interviews and have keen insight into how the top candidates stand out on paper and in the interview chair.
While many career coaches help teachers transition out of education, my passion lies in supporting those who want to stay. I believe in the long-term sustainability of our profession and in the educators who make it thrive. Wanting change doesn’t mean you’re done — it can mean you’re ready for growth, leadership, or a new opportunity within education.
This package is for educators who know they’re ready for more responsibility but struggle to put their experience into words. Together, we uncover the leadership embedded in your work and shape a résumé and cover letter that clearly reflect your strengths, values, and readiness for the role you’re pursuing.
You won’t receive a generic template. You’ll leave with materials that sound like you and accurately represent the leader you already are.
Interview preparation focuses on helping you speak about your experience with clarity, confidence, and authenticity. Drawing on my experience facilitating hundreds of interviews, I help you understand what interview panels are listening for—and how to respond in a way that feels natural and grounded rather than rehearsed.
The goal isn’t to perform. It’s to clearly and confidently tell the truth about your leadership.
Ongoing Coaching is designed for educators who want continued, personalized guidance throughout the leadership journey—from the application process through the first months in a new role. This package provides a consistent, relational space where we reflect on your strengths, clarify your goals, and strategize next steps together. Unlike a one-time résumé or interview session, Ongoing Coaching emphasizes sustained support, helping you stay aligned with your values, navigate challenges, and grow into leadership with confidence and authenticity. You are not simply preparing for a role—you are refining your leadership practice with a partner by your side.
My pricing is transparent and structured to be fair for educators while reflecting the value of sustained, one-on-one guidance. Payment plans are available for ongoing coaching to make long-term support manageable.
