Aves do Legado das Águas, 2022:

O Legado das Águas é uma reserva privada de Mata Atlântica considerada a maior do Brasil. O Legado é um hotspot mundial de biodiversidade, sendo assim, é lar de diversas espécies de aves, que são essenciais para a polinização das plantas e a disperção de sementes. Infelizmente, atualmente restam apenas 7,3% da cobertura florestal original da Mata Atlântica, o que bota em risco todas as espécies que habitam o bioma.

Birds from Legado das Águas, 2022:

Legado das Águas is a private reserve of the Atlantic Rainforest, considered the biggest one of Brazil. It is also a worldwide biodiversity hotspot, meaning that it is the home to various species of birds, that are essential for the polinization and seed despersal. Unfortunatly, nowadays there is only 7,3% of the original Atlantic Rainforest left and that puts every species that lives in this biome at risk.

Insetos e Flores, 2022:

Os insetos e as flores mantém uma interação ecológica indispensável para manter o equilíbrio de todos os ecossistemas terrestres, a polinização. Este serviço ecológico garante a reprodução das plantas com flores, mantendo nossas florestas abundantes e biodiversas. Porém, as ameaças aos insetos atualmente são muitas, dentre elas podemos citar, a perda de habitat, o uso excessivo de agrotóxicos, a poluição e as mudanças climáticas.

Insects and Flowers, 2022:

Insects and flowers mantain an ecologic interaction that is indispensable to guarantee the balance of all the terrestrial ecosystems, the polinization. This ecological service ensures the reproduction of the plants with flowers, keeping our forests abundant and biodiverse. Although, nowadays the threats against insects are many like, for example, habitat loss, excessive use of pesticides, polution and climate change.

Aves nas praias de Florianópolis, 2022:

A ilha de Florianópolis localiza-se no Brasil no estado de Santa Catarina, lá é possível avistar várias espécies de aves se alimentando na beira do mar. Os avistamentos são feitos principalmente no inverno, que é quando ocorrem as migrações, além da menor quantidade de turistas. Cada uma destas aves desempenha um papel essencial nas praias, garantindo que a ciclagem de nutrientes ocorra de maneira correta e mantendo o ecossistema em harmonia.

Birds from the beaches of Florianópolis, 2022:

The island of Florianópolis is situated in Brazil, in the state os Santa Catarina, one can spot there several species of birds feeding at the seashore. The sightings usually ocourr in the winter, and that is because of the migration and the smaller amount of tourists. Each one of these birds has an essential function at these beaches, assuering that the nutrient cycling ocours in the correct way, mantaining the ecossistem in harmony.

Baleia Franca, 2022:

As Baleias Francas são grandes cetáceos que migram para o litoral Sul do Brasil entre Julho e Novembro, para que possam amamentar e preparar os seus filhotes para a vida adulta em segurança. Estes animais possuem uma importância ecológica gigantesca, uma vez que são responsáveis não apenas, pela manutenção do equilíbrio das cadeias tróficas, mas também, pela captura de 1,7 bilhões de toneladas de CO2, ajudando no controle do aquecimento global.

Southern Right Whale, 2022:

The Southern Right whales are big cetaceans that migrate to the South shore of Brazil betwen July and November so they can breastfeed and prepare their cubs for the adult life in safety. These animals have huge ecological importance, and that is because they are responsable not only for mantaining the balance of the food chain, but also for capturing 1,7 bilion of tons of CO2, helping to control the global warming.

Fotossíntese, 2022:

Estas imagens procuram representar a fotossíntese, é possível observar nelas a luz do sol refletindo nos diferentes formatos de folhas de espécies vegetais distintas. A fotossíntese é um processo essêncial para a sobrevivência de todos os seres vivos da terra pois, é por meio dela que o gás carbonico é convertido em gás oxigênio. Ela é realizada pelas plantas terrestres que são muito ameaçadas pelo desmatamento e pela exploração humana.

Photosynthesis, 2022:

The objective of these images is to represent the photosyntesis, in the pictures it is possible to observe the sun light reflecting in the different shapes of leaves of distinct species of plants. The photosynthesis is a crucial process to all kinds of life on Earth because, it is the process responsible to convert carbon dioxide into oxigen. This process is performed by the terrestrial plants that are very much endengerad by deforestation and human exploration.

Primatas Brasileiros, 2022:

O Brasil está entre os 4 países com maior biodiversidade de primatas do mundo, sendo lar para cerca de 139 táxons diferentes. Estes animais mantém as florestas em harmonia, realizando a disperção de sementes e garantindo o equilíbrio da cadeia alimentar. Os primatas brasileiros sofrem muito com o desmatamento e o tráfico de animais.

Brazilian Primates, 2022:

Brazil is one of the 4 countries with the biggest biodiversity of primates in the whole world, it is home to aproximatly 139 differnt species. These animals keep our forests in harmony by performing seed despersal and making sure that the food chain is in the rigth balance. The brazilian primates suffer a lot due to deforestation and animal traffic.

Paisagens Naturais, 2022:

Nestas imagens é possível observar algumas paísagens, todas com seus elementos naturais bem preservados e com cores vibrantes. Procurando transmtir assim, a importância de um ecossistema equilibrado e em harmonia.

Natural Landscapes, 2022:

In these pictures it is possible to observe some landscapes, all of them with their natural elements very well preserved and with vibrating colors. Like that, they try to transmit to us the importance of a balanced ecossystem.
