Welcome to my webpage. I am the Lauder Professor and Anthony L. Davis Director of the Joseph H. Lauder Institute for Management and International Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. I also hold the Nippon Life Professorship in Finance at the Wharton School. I conduct both theoretical and empirical research in finance. My current work focuses on the relationship between financial markets and the macro economy, as well as the organization, skill and performance of financial intermediaries. I received my PhD from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. I joined the Wharton School in 2014 and previously taught at the Graduate School of Business of Stanford University and at the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University. I am a research associate at the NBER and a research fellow at the CEPR and I am a co-host of the podcast series All Else Equal: Making Better Decisions.
