The Youth Mural Program provides young people with the opportunity to work collaboratively on the design and creation of a large-scale public artwork.

Through a series of creative workshops, participants explore ideas, develop designs and learn practical mural-making techniques including colour, composition, painting and working at a larger scale. Young people are encouraged to bring their own ideas and perspectives into the artwork, creating a mural that reflects their creativity, identity and connection to their community.

The program supports confidence, self-expression, teamwork and creative problem-solving while giving participants hands-on experience in the process of creating public art.

Each mural is developed specifically for its location and community, with the final artwork becoming a lasting contribution to the local environment.
