I graduated from Harlingen High School South in 2005 and continued my collegiate education at Dallas Christian College (DCC). During this time, I played volleyball, volunteered with World Impact-Dallas, and worked my way through college. I graduated from DCC in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and a Minor in Intercultural Studies. I moved back to Harlingen and began working with the City of Brownsville as a Program Manager, before I started my career in teaching. I have been teaching for 10 years now. I currently hold teaching certifications in Business Education 6-12 and Marketing Education 8-12. In conjunction to teaching, I also sponsor a student organization, DECA, and manage the Practicum Programs. Every year is different with new challenges and adventures.
