Jake Nemeth
Chess Player and Tournament Director
Jake Nemeth discovered his passion for chess at the age of 4 and has since developed into a skilled player with a USCF rating around 1700-1900. Motivated by a desire to uphold fair play and enforce regulations, I embarked on my journey as a tournament director in October 2023.
Since then, I have found great fulfillment in organizing and overseeing his own chess events, where he ensures that competitions run smoothly and according to established guidelines. His ultimate ambition is to attain the prestigious title of FIDE Arbiter, aiming to contribute to the management of esteemed tournaments such as the American Open.
I'm driven by my goals, I actively organizes local tournaments to accumulate the necessary experience and credits required for overseeing higher-level competitions in the future. Through his dedication and commitment I continues to make significant strides towards my aspirations within the chess community.
