The Judean Times is a youth-led initiative committed to educating, informing, and engaging a global audience on all things related to Judaism — its past, present, and future. Built by students and young professionals with a deep passion for Jewish history, culture, religion, and Israel, our mission is to make complex topics accessible, meaningful, and relevant.
We believe in the power of knowledge to build identity, inspire connection, and strengthen community. Through thoughtful articles, historical features, commentary, and spotlight stories, we aim to bring the richness of the Jewish experience to readers of all backgrounds and levels of familiarity
At the heart of our identity is our logo — a blue Lion of Judah, an ancient symbol of Jewish strength, continuity, and resilience. The lion represents not only the Tribe of Judah but also the enduring spirit of the Jewish people throughout history.
The use of blue in our design reflects both tradition and hope. It is the color of the Israeli flag, the thread of the tallit, and the skyward vision of a people whose story continues to unfold.
The lion reminds us that Jewish history is not only something to be remembered, but something to be lived, defended, and celebrated.
