This is a drawing of Spongebob
Drawing Spongebob was kinda challenging because of the organic shape of his body, the waves are hard to draw consistently. I chose Spongebob's regular colors, yellow and green. The lines were pretty easy because most of them were horizontal, vertical and diagonal so I didn't have much problems with them.
To be honest, this isn't a haunted hallway, it's more of a haunted room. It is just two tall purple monsters feasting on people. My inspiration was mostly horror movies with monsters killing a bunch of people. I feel I drew most of the scene successfully because I was able to bring my idea to life. I used horizontal and diagonal lines to shape the room. I also used organic and geometric shapes throughout the entire drawing. For Example, I used geometric shapes with the window and the bag wall, using rectangles, I also used organic shapes for the blood on the floor. I used movement in the background with the random bricks flying all over. I also used emphasis by making the tall monster in the center and the biggest object in the room.
I eventually decided on this design of a paint bucket character on a comic book cover. I put thought into what people would want to wear. I did this because I would rather wear a shirt with a design I liked. However, there are many talented artists in the TADA class. I believe that my design is worthy of winning.
I used horizontal and vertical lines to outline the comic book. I used the colors red, gray, black, and white. I used diagonal lines to put emphasis on the paint bucket man by pointing the lines toward the paint bucket. I used contrast by using light and dark colors side by side, for example, black and white on the cover.
A portrait is a drawing that shows emphasis on a person by having them as the main drawing.
I chose Michael Jackson as my grid drawing because my whole life I have really enjoyed his music.
I used horizontal and vertical lines to form the grids that I used to draw my drawing. I also used value with the black and white that I used to color my drawing. I used emphasis by making Michael the biggest piece of the drawing and being in the middle. I used contrast with the black and whites in my drawing.
I used a picture of Mario and Luigi to show Pop Culture. My image shows Pop Culture because of the recent Super Mario Bros Movie. My favorite was analogous because my favorite color is green and I think it looks good with the change from light to dark green. I used Shapes and Colors, the shapes that were used were organic shapes on their mustaches, and the colors I used were primary and tertiary colors, such as green, red, and blue. I also used Balance and Rhythm, balance is shown by how I arranged Mario and Luigi throughout my project as they are equally balanced, and the rhythm is shown with the repeated images of Mario and Luigi four times.
I painted a Larvitar pokemon card. The landscape of my card was pretty hard to recreate because of all the different colors of the trees in the background. One element of design I used for my card was space, I used space when having to paint the far back trees and the close land. Another element of design I used was color, a lot of the color used in this painting was either blue or green. One principle of design I used was contrast with the white clouds and the dark green. Another principle of design I used was rhythm with the repeated strands of grass.
