This is a creative short story written in high school inspired by Norman Rockwell's painting, "The Young Lady with the Shiner (1953)." Julianne-Mary is a free and strong-willed young girl who dreams of one day being viewed as a hero by her classmates at school.

As a musical theater essay project at Reinhardt University, I wrote a 20-page analysis on Lin-Manuel Miranda and his impact on Broadway and modern culture by studying his three most popular shows: Bring It On, In The Heights, and Hamilton.

Greek performance is often considered the grandfather of modern-day theater, yet what often is not explored are the influences that came long before the civilization. Included is a Prezi further exploring the research and information within the essay.

This essay analyzes Emma's character arc in Jane Austen's Emma. Despite finding herself in a web of habitual blunders in attempts to create perfect romantic matches for her peers, Emma learns how to truly grow and change by the very end of the novel.
