Short Bio: Dr. Beatriz H. Juárez  graduated in Chemistry from the Complutense University of Madrid and obtained her PhD in Materials Science in 2005. After an industrial position at Lucent Technologies (Madrid), she pursued postdoctoral research with Isabelle Ledoux at the École Normale Supérieure (Paris) and Horst Weller at the University of Hamburg, where she was awarded a European Individual Marie Curie Fellowship (EIF). In 2009, she received the German Nanotechnology Prize (Nanowissenschaftspreis, AGeNT-D/BMBF). She subsequently held a tenure-track position at IMDEA Nanoscience (Madrid) and, in 2012, was appointed Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Physical Chemistry, Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). Since 2021, she is Tenured Scientist at ICMM–CSIC. She also serves as a member of the Materials Science Panel of the Spanish National Research Agency (AEI) since 2023.
