Teaching

From my point of view, there is no better way to developing statistical thinking than tackling real-world problems, which in turn makes the learning process incredibly straightforward for every party involved. That is why my teaching strategy very often consists on covering the material in the context of interesting data-driven case studies.

Undergraduate

Over the years I have taught many undergraduate courses on descriptive statistics, probability, and statistical inference, for a broad range of disciplines including Statistics, Engineering, Biology, Business, Economics, Finance, among others. Typically, these courses cover material from data description, data visualization, data wrangling, probability (probability rules, random variables, and their distributions), and classical statistical inference (point estimation, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and linear regression).
