I am a Research Fellow at LeonardoLabs specialized in aerial robot perception and computer vision. My current research focuses on the development of multi-robot perception systems for autonomous vehicles and the development of novel event-vision modules for diverse applications.
I received a PhD in robotics at the GRVC Robotics laboratory of the University of Seville supervised by Professors J. Ramiro Martinez de-Dios and Anibal Ollero. During my Ph.D. I also joined the RIP laboratory of the Technical University of Berlin of Professor Guillermo Gallego. Before starting my doctoral studies, I received an M.S.E in Artificial and Robotics at the Sapienza University of Rome supervised by professor Giuseppe Oriolo. I also have a B.Sc. in electronic engeenering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
I have worked as a research assistant at IDSIA with Professor Alessandro Giusti, at RoCoCo laboratory led by Professor Daniele Nardi, and at the SIRP laboratory under the supervision of Professor Julian Colorado.
