About me

I am a Master of Research student at the International Doctorate in Economic Analysis (IDEA), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona — a PhD-track program run jointly with the Barcelona School of Economics. I hold a B.S. and an M.S. in Economics from Universidad Nacional de Colombia. 

Before starting IDEA, I spent over seven years as a research assistant at the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, D.C. Also, I worked as an RA at Fedesarrollo, Universidad del Rosario, and Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá.

Research interest

My research interests lie at the intersection of applied econometrics, applied microeconomics, political economy, public policy, and development economics, with a focus on inequality, taxation, and socioeconomic mobility.
