Creator of the JLPER Theory

This year, 2026, Mr. Enriquez sets a milestone of composing music for 40 years. Since the year 1986, he has composed in diverse styles and musical genera such as JLPER serial, Twelve-tone music, Expressionistic, Impressionistic, Neo-Classical, Tonal Post-romantic, Tonal Romantic, Concrete music, Electronic, Pop, Rock, Jazz and Vernacular music. He has edited, registered and published more than 700 works. His music is eclectic and has a strong relationship with other disciplines. 

Most of his compositions have been performed in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, Croatia, Russia and China. He has been also the recipient of several international musical awards including the First Prize in the "De la creatividad al piano" (International Improvisation Contest for the Piano) and the Second Prize in the "XI Certamen internacional de composición de canciones" (International Song Composition Contest) both awards in Valencia, Spain. He has also received the American First Prize in the Luisa Stude Sarofim Contest and the Laredo College Composition Contest. Recently, he received Special Mention at the professional level in the Birmingham International Music Competition and was awarded the Julia Perry Award for the Alba Composition Program in Alba, Italy.

Mr. Enriquez' sheet music is published in Kéfali Press, Edizioni Carrara, Amazon KDP and ArrangeMe of Hal Leonard. His composition: "Lament for Antoniou" partakes in the 2021 CD which won Best Album in the Akademia Music Award in Europe. 

His academic research integrates contemporary musical composition with fourteen disciplines: astronomy, mathematics, physics, anatomy, genetics, philosophy, apologetics, history, semiotics, Mesoamerican anthropology and archaeology, dance, horology, and music theory through his multidisciplinary research project known as the JLPER Theory. 

His music and JLPER Theory have both been presented and showcased in the Doctoral Thesis of Polish Soprano, multi-instrumentalist and Pedagogue, Annika Mikołajko-Osman (Performance specifics of vocal works with simultaneous involvement of the singer in stage actions and instrumental playing, based on the works of contemporary composers) and also in the Doctoral Dissertation by Mexican instrumentalist, José Alberto Barrera at the Universidad Veracruzana (Works for solo bassoon written by composers in Mexico in the 20th and 21st centuries, an annotated list for a broad view of the repertoire written in Mexico). 

Mr. Enriquez has had lectures and presentations about his multidisciplinary writings at Trinity University, the University of Houston, the Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (CINVESTAV), the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Yucatán (UADY), the Escuela Superior de Artes de Yucatán (ESAY), the Centro Morelense de las Artes (CMA), and the Akademia Muzycna Im. K. Pendereckiego of the City of Krakow in Poland. 

With two bachelor's degrees in music composition and choral conducting from Trinity University, a master's degree in composition from the University of Houston and additional course work from Rochester University, Mr. Enriquez has taught numerous music courses at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Centro Nacional de las Artes (CNA), University of Houston, Salvador García Elementary School, Escuela Helen Keller, Escuela de Artes Eiffel, Universidad La Salle, Victoria College, Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), and Centro Morelense de las Artes (CMA). He has also been a jury member in the prestigious St. Petersburg "International New Melodies Composition Contest" and in the Jack Stone Music Composition Awards. 

Mr. Enriquez was a student of two prestigious North American composers: Timothy Kramer, who was a student of two Pulitzer Prize winners: William Bolcom and Leslie Bassett, and Michael Horvit, the latter a student of the notable composers: Aaron Copland, Lukas Foss and Walter Piston. 

In the year 2005, Mr. Enriquez was invited to audition for his doctorate degree at the prestigious Juilliard School. Finally, after a successful audition, interviews, and praise from the master composers, including Milton Babbitt, John Corigliano, Robert Beaser, Christopher Rouse and Samuel Adler, he decided to return to Mexico to enhance his multidisciplinary research and integrate his extensive catalog of compositions.

Mr. Enriquez is the author of several books, including a 274 pages book of musical harmony: "Armonía - manual armónico progresivo y estricto de herramientas musicales propio en el estudio de una licenciatura musical en México.”, (2006 - 2016 - 2026) and “Towards an Understanding of the Stone of All Movements”, (2010) based on his multidisciplinary findings regarding the Aztec Sun Stone. 

Currently, Mr. Enriquez is professor of music at the Master and Bachelor levels at the Centro Morelense de las Artes (CMA), teaches privately at his composition studio in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, plays the piano, guitar and drums and sings at local parishes and lectures and participates in concerts throughout the region.

Its organization to the core links a strict serialized set of numbers, logarithmically arranged, with the actual organized elements of our Solar System and the musical notes. Through this theory, the profound relationships between planetary cycles, musical notes, numbers and the temporal conceptions of ancient American cultures are explored as some meanings and innovative interpretations are exposed to reveal scientific and philosophical aesthetics not previously discovered.

Particularly important in the field of Mesoamerican studies is his discovery of mathematical symbols in the Aztec Sun Stone which prove and evidence that the cultures of Mesoamerica had a vast knowledge regarding all the planets of our solar system.

Mr. Enríquez has demonstrated through the diagrams of the JLPER Theory three important conclusions: 

1) The solid structure of the cosmos demonstrates it cannot be the result of chance or random processes, but rather the product of intelligent design and the hand of a Creator.

2) Mathematics are not an invention of the human mind - they are consciously embedded in all creation.

3) The human spinal chord and DNA are logically related to the JLPER Theory proving that humans are indeed a     refection of the cosmos.
