I am an Assistant Professor at PUC Rio. My research interests lie at the intersection of development and public economics. I am particularly interested redistributional policies in developing countries, the determinants of income inequality, and the political constraints that may deter improvements in these situations. I hold a Bachelor of Science in economics from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, a Master from PUC-RIO, and a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University. Since then, I have worked as an Economist at Cornerstone Research and at Uber.
