I’m Juan Preuyt — founder of New Perspective Design, a digital agency born from curiosity and built through grit. My world revolves around website design and SEO, but that’s just the surface. Behind it is a journey of studies, experiments, and building something out of nothing.
This site isn’t here to “convert leads” or bore you with corporate fluff. It’s here because people keep asking who I am, what I do, and why the hell I care so much about pixels, rankings, and business growth. So, here it is — the unfiltered version.
I started in East London, cut my teeth in design, and grew into the fast-paced worlds of Pretoria and Johannesburg. These cities didn’t just give me clients — they shaped the way I think about business, design, and problem-solving.
This site isn’t a sales pitch. It’s a snapshot of what I’ve done, what I’ve learned, and how I see the digital world evolving.
Design isn’t just pretty pictures. SEO isn’t just stuffing keywords. I’ve watched enough “experts” crash and burn because they didn’t get that.
I build sites that look good, load fast, and rank. From Pretoria startups hustling to get noticed, to Johannesburg corporates who should know better but don’t — I’ve done it, fixed it, and sometimes rebuilt it from scratch.
What started as freelancing turned into a company. No investors, no shortcuts, just grind. Today, New Perspective Design is my team, my business, and my proof that you can turn late nights and a stubborn streak into something real.
It’s not “an agency” in the cliché sense. It’s the place where design, strategy, and a bit of chaos come together.
I’ve always believed skills matter more than titles. Over time, I’ve stacked up certifications in programming, design, analytics, digital marketing, and SEO — each one another tool in the belt.
But the real education came from projects, late-night problem-solving, and learning to adapt in an industry that changes overnight.
Johannesburg taught me speed.
Pretoria taught me precision.
East London taught me persistence.
Together, they built the designer and strategist I am today.
