The 9th Japan-Taiwan Joint Meeting on

Neutron and X-ray Scattering

!!Postponed!!

Scope

The structure and various functional properties of polymer materials, including biomaterials, membrane materials, and nanomaterials, are closely related to each other. For this reason, the structure and characteristics are evaluated based on various measurement techniques. Research based on scattering, diffraction, and reflectance measurements using quantum beams (neutrons and synchrotron radiation X-ray) uses methods that emphasize contrast by special labeling, etc. Due to various advantages such as data acquisition and in-situ measurement under the application of various external stimuli, the demand is increasing more and more. Based on these situations, the purpose of the symposium is the development of research using quantum beams in both Japan and Taiwan, and further development is expected in the field of polymer science in both countries.
