Named for the heavenly bodies dancing their way across our night skies, this series explores the way dance translates into a traditionally static medium - and the fluidity of that medium when it is allowed freedom of movement within a given space.
All paintings are 9x12" (10.5x13.5" framed), watercolor and ink on paper.
We all have loved ones that deserve celebration, and many of those loved-ones are furry and friendly in nature. Pets great and small, old and young are commemorated in this series of pyrographic, painted portraits.

Silverlake Conservation is excited to announce a pop-up show in honor of the opening of its new LA space. The show brings together a collection of talented emerging and established artists whose work explores the relationship between the human body and the spaces that surround it. The show's central questions include how does the body relate to its surroundings? How do these surroundings shape our perspective of our own bodies/histories? And, how can we visualize and transform ephemeral memories and lasting experiences into lasting statements? Artists in the exhibition include Jennifer Snoeyink, Nicole Belle, Ariana Page Russell, Aline Mare, Ashton Phillips, Palmer Earl, Gianfranco Cioffi, Jen Kelsey , Sydney Walters, Paris Zsun, Jessica Swan, Dale Voelker, Carla Jay Harris and others.

To create is natural. It's a basic human instinct that, if honed, can unfold into wonderful works of art. I have been lucky to surround myself not only with people who appreciate this process, but who are also creative in their own mediums: from the visual to performing arts. They have all inspired me - through their works and positive influence - to be creative in my own respect.
