This privacy policy gives full information about what information is collected by the Door Caller application, how it is used, and what choices you have.
Jukka Säynäjoki, I, built the Door Caller app, later called DC-app, as a free app. The DC-app is provided by me at no cost and is intended for use as is. If you choose to use the DC-app, then you agree with this policy.
The DC-app does NOT collect or share any Personal Information. One phone number is saved into the used device by the user.
The DC-app does NOT require you to provide any personally identifiable information, except one phone number where to the call is made. The phone number that the DC-app requests for calling will NOT be retained and is not saved or shared outside the used device in any way. The DC-app does NOT use third party services that may collect, save or share information used to identify you or any other in any way. You can use all the app’s features without any separate permissions. The DC-app will ask permission to launch the phone call to the preset number.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that is commonly used as an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
The DC-app does NOT use these “cookies” explicitly. The DC-app does NOT use any third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect, save or share information.
The DC-app does NOT use, collect, save or share any location information.
The DC-app does NOT collect, save, or share information from your device. The DC-app only uses the one phone number preset by the user to make the call. The DC-app does share or save the phone number outside the device. The DC-app does not use the Contacts or other user information saved into the phone.
We do not employ or give access to third-party companies or individuals to any data or information. The reason to ask for data (the phone number) is to perform the tasks assigned to them, i.e., make the phone call. The data is not shared or used for any other purpose.
The DC-app does not address anyone under the age of 13. The DC-app does not collect or ask personal identifiable information from children under 13 in any way, except the one phone number to call. The data is not shared or used for any other purpose.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
