計量・数理政治研究会 (The Japanese Society for Quantitative Political Science, JSQPS, https://sites.google.com/view/jsqps/) の2022年冬季集会における報告者を以下の要領で募集しますので，どうぞ奮ってお申し込みください。オンライン懇談会の実施も予定しています。参加登録に関する案内は12月初旬にお知らせします。

1. 日時と場所

* 2022年1月9日（日）・10日（月・成人の日）

* 開催方法は未定（オンラインのみ、または対面とオンラインのハイブリッド）。

* ただし9日については報告希望者が多いときのみ開催。

2. 内容・目的

* 広く計量・数理政治学について、主に英文ジャーナルに投稿することを目指している論文の報告を募集します。（なお過去の集会で報告された論文が後に英語雑誌 (AER, AJPS, APSR, BJPS, ES, ISQ, JASA, JOP, JTP, LSQ, PA, PC, POQ, QJPSなど)に掲載されたリストは以下のURLをご覧ください。 ）

* 1本の報告に長めの時間を割き、国内外からの多数の参加者が活発な議論を交わします。

* 各報告には討論者をつけます。

* 日本語・英語での報告が可能です。日本語での報告・討論を歓迎します。

* 国内外の研究者の交流の場になることも企図しています。

* 報告採択率は非常に高いです。過去2回の大会ではすべてのプロポーザルが採択されています。

* これまでの大会では、修士および博士課程の大学院生、ポスドク、助教からシニアまで、いろんなステージの研究者が発表しています。自分の研究へのフィードバックやコメントがほしい方たち（特に若手研究者の方たち）の積極的な応募をお待ちしています。

4. その他

* JSQPSのメーリングリストを通じて参加案内をお送りします。

* 12月初旬にJSQPSウェブサイト上（https://sites.google.com/view/jsqps）でプログラムを公開します。

* 報告者は12月下旬までに、報告スライド（可能であれば論文も）をGoogleグループで共有してください。報告採択後に、アップロード方法等詳細を連絡します。

* １人で複数の（共著）論文を応募することは可能ですが、報告は１人１回のみとします。

Call for Proposals, JSQPS 2022 Winter Meeting

We are pleased to announce that the 2022 Winter Meeting of the Japanese Society for Quantitative Political Science (JSQPS) (https://sites.google.com/view/jsqps/) will be held on January 9 and 10, 2022. We invite oral presentations based on original research. An online social event will be scheduled after the meeting. Please find below detailed information about the meeting and proposal submission.

1. Date and place : January 9 (Sun) and 10 (Mon), 2022

* Online or hybrid online/in-person meetings.

* The meeting on 9th will be scheduled if necessary.

2. Goals:

* We welcome research proposals which focus on empirical and positive research in political science to be submitted to international journals in English.

* Speakers can choose to present and discuss in either English or Japanese.

* Participants will extensively discuss a single presentation for longer time than usual academic conferences.

* A discussant will be assigned to each presentation.

* We intend to provide opportunities for interactions between Japan-based researchers and those who are based overseas.

* An acceptance rate is high. The rate was 100% for the last two meetings.

* In the past meetings, graduate students, post-docs, junior and senior researchers present their research. We strongly encourage those (especially young researchers) who look for feedbacks on their research to apply for the meeting.

3. Proposal submission:

* Notifications of decisions: By November 15.

* You may submit multiple proposals for co-authored works but may only make one presentation.

4. Other issues

* Additional details for the meeting will be sent though the JSQPS mailing list.

* Final program: Uploaded in early December at the JSQPS website (https://sites.google.com/view/jsqps/).

* Presentation slides due: late December.

* Paper submission is not required but encouraged.

* Presentation slides and papers should be uploaded to Google Drive. After the notification of proposal acceptance, detailed information about uploading will be provided.
