Privacy Policy for JSON Beautifier & Viewer

JSON Beautifier & Viewer is developed by Sephellive Tools. This policy explains what information the extension accesses, how it is used, and how optional uninstall feedback is handled.

Information accessed by the extension

The extension reads the content of a browser page only when that page appears to contain a valid JSON object or array. It also reads the main page response status and response headers so it can identify and present JSON responses. This access is used solely to provide the extension's automatic formatting and viewing features.

Local storage

The extension stores your selected theme preference locally in Chrome storage. Response status and header information may be held temporarily in Chrome session storage and is removed automatically. This information is not sent to Sephellive Tools.

Data collection and transmission

Sephellive Tools does not collect, transmit, sell, or share the contents of the JSON pages you view. The extension does not include analytics, advertising, user accounts, tracking, or remote processing. Formatting is performed locally in your browser.

Optional uninstall feedback

If you uninstall the extension, Chrome may open an optional feedback page containing a Google Form. If you choose to submit the form, Sephellive Tools receives only the answers you voluntarily provide. The form is configured not to collect email addresses. Feedback is used only to understand why the extension was removed and to improve the product. Google may process form data under its own privacy policy.

Data retention and deletion

Theme preferences remain in Chrome storage until you change them, clear extension data, or remove the extension. Temporary session data expires automatically. Optional uninstall feedback may be retained for product improvement. To request deletion of feedback you submitted, contact sephellivetools@gmail.com and include enough detail to identify your submission.

Permissions

Storage is used to remember the selected theme and temporarily cache response metadata. Web request and website access are required so the extension can recognize JSON responses and format them directly in the browser. These permissions are not used to build a browsing history or to monitor regular websites.

Limited Use

The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the extension's features or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
