Dorothée is a professor of Operations Management and Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at JSOM. She is also the Chair of the university-wide sustainability committee. Her research focuses on sustainability in supply chains and in particular curbing food waste. In her spare time, Dorothée likes to run, do yoga and listen to podcasts. She also loves anything coconut-flavored.

Kathy is Naveen Jindal School Advisory Council Chair and a professor of Operations Management. Her research focuses on a variety of problems in the operations/marketing interface area, as well as a variety of manufacturing problems. In her spare time, Kathy likes to travel, watch movies, and listen to the blues.

Katalia is a Ph.D. student in Operations Management. She is from Jiangxi, China. She is passionate about learning and teaching. In her spare time, she likes walking, running, yoga, swimming, rock climbing, and writing.

Ali is a third-year Ph.D. student in finance. He is interested in corporate finance. He came to the U.S. five years ago to do his master's degree in Illinois. Ali reads and works out in his free time. He also goes hiking on the weekends.

He (pronounced as her without r sound) is a Ph.D. student in International Management Studies. His research interest is Organizational Behavior, and he is still exploring his “zing”. This guy was born in Weishi, a village in central China but was brought up in Fuzhou, a coastal city in China. Experiencing geographical and cultural differences has made him enjoy food with various flavors and of all kinds, but not too spicy. He loves volleyball and movies.

Simon is a Ph.D. student in Marketing. He is from Korea/New Zealand. He is passionate about learning new things. In his spare time, he likes to play tennis!

Shailender is a second year Ph.D. student in Information Systems. He is from India. He likes to read books and loves the works of Franz Kafka and Premchand. He also likes to do volunteer work and he is a proponent of sustainable living.

Parisa is a Ph.D. student in Operations Management. She is from Tehran, Iran. She loves learning new languages, reading books, listening to music, and doing yoga. She also enjoys solving rational games like sudoku and Mastermind.

Hangu is a Ph.D. student in Accounting. She is from southeastern China and she has enjoyed her college life in Hong Kong. Making jigsaw puzzles or playing with lego is her favorite. Besides, she also goes boxing now and then.
