The Futsal Meetup aims to promote communication and interaction among neuroscientists across research fields, institutions, and career stages.

Since its launch in 2013, the meetup has been organized by volunteers around the dates of the Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society, usually on the evening of either the day before or the first day of the meeting.

The futsal meetup is an unofficial, volunteer-organized social event and is not an official event of the Society or the Meeting.
